The Chef Bureau — Terms for Employers
1. Our Role
The Chef Bureau is a recruitment intermediary. We connect clients with vetted chefs for permanent, part-time, and temporary placements. We do not employ chefs directly.

2. Placement Fees
-
Permanent & Part-Time Roles: A flat fee of £500 is payable for each candidate you hire through The Chef Bureau.
-
Temporary/Freelance Roles: A rate of £20 per day is charged for each day the candidate works under your engagement.

3. Payment Terms
-
Permanent/Part-Time placements: The £500 fee becomes payable upon written offer acceptance by the candidate.
-
Temporary placements: Invoices are issued weekly or monthly (based on agreement), and must be paid within 7 days of invoice date.
Late payments may incur interest charges.

4. Candidate Guarantee (Permanent/Part-Time Only)
If a permanent or part-time candidate leaves or is terminated within 14 days of starting, we will offer one free replacement. This is subject to availability and fair usage. No refunds will be issued.

5. Candidate Vetting
All candidates are personally interviewed, reference-checked, and assessed to the best of our ability. However, The Chef Bureau does not accept liability for performance or conduct once the candidate is hired.

6. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
-
Verifying the candidate’s legal right to work
-
Issuing employment contracts
-
Providing safe working conditions

7. Confidentiality
All candidate CVs, profiles, and introductions are confidential and may not be shared outside your organisation.

8. Data Handling
Your data is handled in accordance with GDPR. We will only use your details to match candidates or manage our relationship. See our [Privacy Policy] for details.

9. Agreement
By using our service or engaging with any candidate introduced by The Chef Bureau, you agree to these terms.
